Terms of Use

These terms are the rules for using Hexi. Please read them. If you’re under 18, read them with your parent or guardian.

About Hexi

Hexi (hexistudy.com) is a revision website with original practice questions, worked solutions and short videos. It is run by [full legal name of operator], an individual based in [city], India. Our address is [postal address]. “Hexi”, “we” and “us” mean the operator. [Update once a company or other business is set up.]

By using Hexi you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Who can use Hexi

• You must be 13 or older. We don’t allow anyone under 13.
• If you’re 13 to 17, your parent or guardian must know you’re using Hexi and agree to these terms for you. We email them when you sign up, and they can delete your account at any time.
• Parents and guardians: you’re responsible for your child’s use of Hexi and for any purchase made for them.

Your account

• Give your real name, email and school year, and keep them up to date.
• One account per person. Don’t share it.
• We sign you in with a code or link sent to your email. Keep your email account secure, and don’t forward sign-in emails to anyone.
• Tell us at hello@hexistudy.com if you think someone else is using your account.
• You can delete your account any time from your account page.

Using Hexi fairly

Please don’t:

• copy, share, sell or post our questions, solutions or videos anywhere else;
• share your account or Season Pass with others;
• use bots, scrapers or scripts to download our content, including to train AI tools;
• try to break, overload or get around the site’s security;
• use Hexi to harass anyone or break the law.

If you do, we may suspend or close your account. Where it’s fair to do so, we’ll warn you first and tell you why.

Our content

• Everything on Hexi (questions, solutions, videos, diagrams and design) is original and owned by [the operator]. It was written by the Hexi team and checked by an experienced teacher.
• You may use it for your own personal study. That’s it.

• We work hard to get everything right, but mistakes can happen. If you spot one, email us and we’ll fix it.

Exam boards

Hexi is independent. It was developed independently from and is not endorsed by the International Baccalaureate (IB). Cambridge and IGCSE are trademarks of Cambridge University Press & Assessment, which does not endorse this site.

We don’t publish exam board past papers. For those, ask your school.

Study help, not a promise

Hexi helps you practise. It doesn’t replace your teacher or your official syllabus, and we can’t promise any grade or result. Always check your syllabus and your school’s guidance.

The free plan

At launch (24 November 2026) Hexi is free. We may change what’s included for free later. We’ll tell account holders before we make a big change.

Season Pass (from 15 December 2026)

• A Season Pass is a one-off payment for access to [what it unlocks] until a fixed end date. We show the end date before you pay.
• It does not renew automatically. We’ll never charge you again unless you choose to buy another pass.
• Prices are shown in Indian rupees (INR) or US dollars (USD). The price you see at checkout is the total you pay, [including GST / any taxes]. [CA to confirm GST wording.]
• Payments are handled by Razorpay. Your bank or card provider may add its own fees (for example, currency conversion). We don’t control those.
• The buyer must be 18 or over. If the student is under 18, a parent or guardian should buy the pass.
• We email a receipt after you pay.
• Each pass is for one student and can’t be transferred.
• During your pass we may add, improve or reorganise content. We won’t take away the main features you paid for before your pass ends.

If the site is down

We try to keep Hexi running all the time, but sometimes it will be down for fixes or for reasons outside our control. If Hexi is unavailable for a long time during your pass, see the Refund Policy.

Our responsibility to you

• We provide Hexi with reasonable care and skill.
• We aren’t responsible for losses we couldn’t reasonably have expected, or for problems caused by things outside our control (like internet outages or your device).
• If we are responsible for a loss, the most we’ll pay is the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, or [₹1,000] if you haven’t paid us anything. [Lawyer to confirm the cap.]
• Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under Indian law or any other law that protects you.

Ending your account

• You can stop using Hexi and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close a paid account without a good reason, we’ll refund the unused part of the pass.
• If we ever shut Hexi down, we’ll give at least [30 days’] notice by email and refund the unused part of any active pass.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Hexi grows. For important changes we’ll email account holders at least [14 days] before they apply. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account, and get a refund for the unused part of an active pass.

Law and disputes

• These terms are governed by the laws of India.
• If something goes wrong, please contact us first. Most things can be sorted out quickly. See our Contact & Grievance page.
• Courts in [city] will handle disputes. You can still use any consumer commission or court that the law allows you to use, including where you live.
